General Purpose

A Truck Driver (Class A CDL required) supports construction operations by loading, transporting, and unloading equipment, supplies, and earth materials. Your duties involve physically demanding construction general labor while operating specialized trucks and earth-moving equipment. Drivers move earth, equipment, tools, and materials safely into place.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment

• Load and unload equipment and materials

• Haul Material to and from job sites

• Daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections; maintain a daily log

• Perform regular maintenance/cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment

• Communicate with mechanic and equipment failures

• Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge, Qualification, & Experience

Education: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) with tanker endorsement

Experience: 

• Skill to operate equipment in close proximity to workers and underground utilities

• Knowledge of DOT regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles

• Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first

• The ability to fix or resolve minor maintenance issues

Working Environment

• Worksites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
